    • The Billboard 200 chart tallies units from album sales, song sales (10 songs equal one album) and streaming activity (1,500 streams equal one album).
    • Electropop group Odesza debuted at No. 2 with “Moment Apart” selling 63,000 album units, while altrock band The National entered the chart at No. 3 with “Sleep Well Beast” selling 62,000 album units.

    • LOS ANGELES (Reuters) Some 11.4 million Americans watched Sunday’s Emmy awards on television in a ceremony marked by jokes and jibes at U.S. President Donald Trump and where “Saturday Night Live” was the biggest winner.
    • Broadcaster CBS (CBS.N) said on Monday that the 2017 audience was in line with that of last year, which attracted a record low of 11.3 million viewers.
    • Emmys host Stephen Colbert has ruthlessly attacked Trump on his “The Late Show,” and many of the winners and presenters made barbed comments about Trump and his policies during Sunday’s threehour ceremony honouring the best of television.
    • NBC’s CMSCA.O satirical sketch show “Saturday Night Live” won nine Emmys, including statuettes for Trump impersonator Alec Baldwin, Melissa McCarthy’s skits on former White House spokesman Sean Spicer, Kate McKinnon’s turns as losing presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and White House aide Kellyanne Conway.
    • Spicer, who resigned in July, also made a surprise appearance at Sunday’s ceremony doing an impression of himself, and he later did the rounds of industry afterparties in Los Angeles.

    • Gaga’s European tour to promote her latest album “Joanne” was due to start on Sept. 21 in Barcelona, Spain, and continue for six weeks.
    • The singer was hospitalized in 2013 for a hip injury, and a new documentary, “Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two,” documents her struggles with chronic pain.
